Rourke and Ally flew in from Indiana and Colorado for a destination engagement session in St. Augustine, just south of where I live. We made the most of our 2 hours together and incorporated each element of what makes St. Augustine such a beautiful place.

Locations:

• Aviles Street in Historic Downtown St. Augustine

• Magnolia Street, located near the Fountain of Youth

• Vilano Beach, Porpoise Point Beach Access

We started out by strolling through Aviles Street and finding cute doors, colorful walls, cobblestone roads and unique architecture you can only find in the oldest city. Then, we headed to Magnolia Avenue and danced in the street surrounded by giant live oaks with Spanish Moss – a southern favorite. Finally, we ended with a walk on Vilano Beach while the sun was low and the tide was high, which is the perfect combination.

I feel so blessed to have captured their love and another big milestone in Ally’s life.

We met in college at Indiana University and I was able to photograph her graduation from undergrad, as well as grad school, so it was extra special to be able to take these engagement photos for her. It’s the lifelong friends and repeat clients that makes being a photographer so great! I’m beyond blessed with this career and with Ally’s friendship! <3
